Nicholas Kirkwood A/W O8/09

A little late on this but Nicholas Kirkwood has to be my favourite shoe designer so I thought he deserved a mention. You'd be living under a rock if you hadn't seen at least one pair of his shoes.

Kirkwood has made quite a name for himself, outfitting models in runway shows for Belstaff, Alberta Ferretti, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Gareth Pugh, Basso and Brooke, Jean Pierre Braganza and Rodarte. The sharp platforms, architectual styling and skinny stilletos have become his signature, admired by the fashion elite.

If it were possible/legal/sane I would marry his shoes.

So i'm a fan of Kate Lanphear...

Meet Kate Lanphear, Currently the Senior Style editor at US Elle, but has also worked for Australian Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Her wardrobe consisting of skyscraping heels from the likes of Burberry, Gucci, Balenciaga and Prada.

Her style is quite boyish and she favours inky hues, mainly wearing greys and black. I've never seen a photo of her looking less then perfect, all her outfits perfectly put together. The hair over the eyes paired with the large death-defying heels could be a recipe for disaster though...

So you wanna be Kate too?
I don't blame you ;)

I only have a few very rare and hard to find singlets left in my ebay store starting at $65! so be quick!
